Payrate: £18 per hour
The Role: As a agency Head Chef, you will step straight into an established kitchen environment and maintain high culinary standards, control service flow, and manage kitchen ops seamlessly during peak periods and staffing coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee daily service, ensuring food quality, presentation, and delivery meet target standards.
Direct kitchen brigade and temporary staff effectively during busy services.
Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and HACCP/COSHH standards.
Manage stock control, prep lists, and kitchen wastage.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in fresh food / high-volume environments.
Level 3 Food Safety in Catering (preferred) or valid Level 2.
Valid Allergen Awareness certificate. xwzovoh
Own transport required due to venue location (LE12 8TX).
Reliable, adaptable, and able to hit the ground running with minimal handovers.
