Where will you be working?
At M Group Energy, were enabling the energy essential to support our lives.
Our business delivers end-to-end energy infrastructure across Transmission, Distribution, EV and Home Decarbonisation. From building substations up to 400kV and maintaining networks, to enabling EV charging and supporting Net Zero, we play a key role in powering sustainable communities. This role will be a Environmental Manager as part of our SHEQ team.
What will you be doing?
As the Environmental Manager, your role will be based in Scotland.
You'll lead environment and sustainability across the region, driving measurable improvements and embedding environmental excellence in operations.
Ensuring compliance with legislation and the Environmental Management System, and you will lead assurance activities including audits, incident investigations and corrective actions.
You'll lead, develop and resource-plan a team of Environmental Advisers and Sustainability Advisers, building capability, training and best practice. Working closely with senior leaders, operational teams, clients and regulators, we'll ask you to communicate performance, risks and opportunities and drive cross-contract collaboration.
In this role you will identify and champion innovations and digital solutions, developing business cases that deliver long-term value. You will also support work winning, business development and contract mobilisation by providing critical environmental inputs.

What youll bring
- Degree (or equivalent) in Environmental Management, Environmental Science or a related discipline, plus Chartered membership of ISEP (or equivalent), e.g., CEnv / CISEP (or working towards).
