Are you an Electrical Design Engineer, looking for a remote role within the Fire Protection industry, for a company who are rapidly expanding working in datacentres, investing in the business and their team, going from strength-to-strength?

Do you want to be a key member of a highly skilled team of 8 designers, for a company that offers ongoing progression routes and the chance to put your stamp on the department?

This company provides design, maintenance and servicing for fire and security systems across the UK, working with large blue-chip clients in data centres, as well as commercial and government establishments such as hospitals and schools.

In this role, you will work closely with the Project Director to help develop and support the design team. You will be responsible for using BIM Modelling to create specifications on Fire protection designs for data centres.

This role would suit a Design Engineer from Data centres, Fire Protection or a similar mechanical industry that is confident liaising with both clients and directors internally to ensure the smooth running of projects.

The Role:

• Robust drawing checking and approval procedures
• Using Revit and BIM Modelling to create specifications
• Work closely with Project Directors and clients throughout
• Lead design reviews and meetings
• Completely remote with an office visit to Reading once a month

The Person:

• Electrical Design background or similar

• Willing to Commute to Reading once a month
