<p><br>We’re currently working on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing SME based in Edenbridge, to recruit a hands-on <strong>Warehouse Supervisor </strong> to take ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations and lead a busy, fast-paced team.<br>This is a highly practical, “lead from the front” role — ideal for someone who thrives in a working environment where they are just as involved on the warehouse floor as they are in supervising the team.<br>Our client is looking for a reliable, organised and proactive individual who can maintain high standards of accuracy, safety, and efficiency, while motivating others to do the same.<br><strong>The Role </strong><br>You’ll play a key role in keeping warehouse operations running smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities include:<ul><li>Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of warehouse activity and workflow </li><li>Coaching, directing, and supporting team members to ensure strong performance and consistency </li><li>Coordinating the safe and efficient movement of goods in and out of the warehouse </li><li>Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring systems are kept fully up to date </li><li>Overseeing the full order cycle from picking through to packing and dispatch </li><li>Ensuring inbound and outbound shipments are processed correctly with accurate paperwork </li><li>Carrying out basic checks on equipment and escalating any repair needs </li><li>Supporting in assembly/build tasks when operationally required </li><li>Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and operating at a high standard </li><li>Supporting onboarding and day-to-day guidance of new starters and apprentices </li> </ul><br><strong>About You </strong><br><ul><li>Experienced working within a warehouse environment, ideally with some supervisory exposure </li><li>Highly organised with a strong focus on accuracy and detail </li><li>Physically capable of supporting manual handling duties when needed </li><li>Forklift trained </li><li>Confident working with warehouse systems and processes </li><li>Clear and effective communicator who can guide and support a team </li><li>Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable in a busy SME setting </li> </ul><br><strong>The Package </strong><br><ul><li>£28,000–£30,000 DOE </li><li>Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm </li><li>On-the-job training and development provided </li><li>Opportunity to grow within a supportive and expanding business </li><li>Fast-paced, team-focused working environment </li> </ul> </p>
