Job description
<p><p><strong>Vickerstock </strong> are working in partnership with a <strong>warehousing and logistics </strong>business on the appointment of a <strong>Stock Control Manager. </strong><br>As the <strong>Stock Control Manager </strong>, you will play a key role in overseeing stock control operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and high levels of customer service across the business.<br> </p><ul><li>€42,000 per annum </li><li>Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm </li><li>1 in 3 Saturdays (day off in lieu provided) </li> </ul><p><strong>In your new role: </strong><br> </p><ul><li>Manage and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Stock Office Team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to the Management Team. </li><li>Produce weekly stock reports, Labour Management Standards (LMS) data, and ad hoc customer analysis as required. </li><li>Ensure all customer stock transactions are processed accurately and efficiently by the Stock Office Team. </li><li>Monitor stock accuracy and investigate discrepancies, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and effectively. </li><li>Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and customers. </li><li>Work closely with the Operations Team to ensure stock is received, stored, and dispatched in line with customer requirements and operational procedures. </li><li>Escalate operational or stock-related issues to the Operations Manager where necessary, providing clear updates and recommended actions. </li><li>Continuously identify opportunities to improve stock processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. </li><li>Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the Stock Office Team, including scheduling, shift planning, attendance management, payroll reporting, and performance management. </li><li>Coach, mentor, and support team members to drive engagement, development, and high performance. </li><li>Ensures stock accuracy, timely reporting, and efficient service delivery to meet both customer and operational expectations. </li> </ul><p><strong>Essential Criteria </strong> </p><ul><li>Previous stock management experience within a food manufacturing, logistics, or warehousing environment. </li><li>Proven experience managing and developing teams within a fast-paced operational setting. </li><li>Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective working relationships. </li><li>Excellent IT skills, including experience with stock management systems and reporting tools. </li> </ul><p><strong>What you will need to succeed: </strong><br>For a confidential conversation on how Vickerstock can help support you with your next move, get in touch with our supply chain consultant <strong>Michael Irwin </strong>today! </p> </p><p><strong>Skills: </strong> <br>warehouse supervisor warehouse manager fmcg logistics </p><br/><p>WHJS1_NI </p>
