<p><p><strong>Software Sales Academy </strong> </p><p>If you want to learn life-long skills that will equip you for jobs of the future, the Software Sales Academy is for you. This academy is a great way to get industry-recognised training before entering the workplace or changing career. </p><p><strong>Training </strong> </p><p>The Software Sales Assured Skills Academy is an intensive eight-week training course providing practical knowledge and real-world experience required to work in the sector. </p><p>All candidates will complete training relevant for the job role of a Sales Development Representative (SDR) that includes: </p><ul><li>customer understanding </li><li>value buyers </li><li>sales funnel </li><li>prospecting </li><li>outbound and pipeline execution </li><li>sales methodology and processes </li><li>problem solving and simulation for employer readiness </li> </ul><p><strong>Company information </strong> </p><p>The supporting companies for the academy are: </p><ul><li>First Derivatives (An Epam Company) </li><li>Everway </li><li>ComplyFirst </li><li>Version 1 </li><li>Analytic Engines </li><li>Cloudsmith </li><li>SciLeads </li><li>Workplus </li> </ul><p>Those who successfully finish Assured Skills Academies are guaranteed a job interview with participating companies. Offers of employment will be at the discretion of the companies following the interview. </p><p>Applicants should note that the job roles available are not eligible for skilled worker sponsorship. </p><p><strong>Training allowance </strong> </p><p>Those taking part in the academy will receive a weekly training allowance of £185 for the length of the academy, as well as help towards travel and childcare expenses where people qualify. </p><p><strong>Key dates </strong> </p><p>Information session and interview dates </p><p>Belfast Metropolitan College (BMC) will invite eligible applicants to an information session and interview towards the end of June 2026. </p><p>Training dates </p><p>Training will take place from Monday 3 August to Friday 25 September 2026 at BMCs E3 campus and will be classroom based. </p><p>Training hours are from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm every weekday. </p><p>Successful applicants must be available for the whole training period. </p><p><strong>Who can apply </strong> </p><p>Applicants must: </p><ul><li>be at least 18 years old </li><li>have a right to work and to undertake Assured Skills Training in the UK at the point of application </li><li>not be disqualified from doing either by reason of their immigration status </li> </ul><p><strong>Essential criteria </strong> </p><ul><li>strong communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly </li><li>self-driven and resilient and motivated by targets </li><li>organised with a disciplined approach to managing activity </li> </ul><p><strong>Desirable criteria </strong> </p><ul><li>degree in business or engineering or IT or a related field </li><li>experience in a customer-facing role </li><li>interest in the technology or software sector </li> </ul><p>Applications are welcome from everyone who meets the essential criteria and are particularly welcome from people returning to work after caring for their children or other family members. </p><p><strong>How to apply </strong> </p><p>Apply online by clicking in the apply button below. </p><p><strong>Closing date </strong> </p><p>Completed applications must be received by noon (UK time) on Friday 12 June 2026. </p><p><strong>Living outside Northern Ireland </strong> </p><p>If you live outside Northern Ireland, by accepting an offer of a place on this pre-employment training academy, you are committing to attending training and pursuing a job opportunity in Northern Ireland. </p> </p><br/><p>WHJS1_NI </p>
