Senior Management Accountant

<p><p>We are partnering with a well-established and growing organisation in the Randalstown area to recruit a <strong>Senior Management Accountant </strong>. This is a key appointment within a busy finance team, offering the opportunity to take ownership of core reporting processes while contributing to strategic decision-making at a senior level. </p><p><br></p><p>Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will play a central role in delivering high-quality financial reporting, enhancing controls, and providing meaningful insights to support performance across the business. </p><p><br></p><p>This position would suit a commercially minded, qualified accountant who is keen to step into a visible and influential role within a progressive organisation. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Package & Benefits: </strong> </p><ul><li>£50,000 £55,000 </li><li>Company pension scheme </li><li>28 days annual leave </li><li>Early finish on Fridays </li> </ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong> </p><ul><li>Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts, including in-depth variance and performance analysis </li><li>Provide insightful financial reporting and support senior stakeholders in driving business performance </li><li>Oversee the year-end process and act as the primary liaison for external auditors </li><li>Manage accruals, prepayments, and intercompany or internal recharges </li><li>Maintain and develop the fixed asset register, including capital expenditure oversight </li><li>Review and control bank reconciliations and finance agreements (e.g. hire purchase) </li><li>Ensure timely and accurate submission of statutory and regulatory returns, including UK and ROI VAT </li><li>Drive continuous improvement across financial systems, controls, and reporting processes </li> </ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Candidate Profile: </strong> </p><ul><li>Minimum of 4+ years experience in a management accounting or similar role </li><li>Fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA preferred) or qualified by experience </li><li>Strong commercial awareness with the ability to influence and support decision-making </li><li>Excellent organisational and time management skills </li><li>Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and financial systems </li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels </li><li>Proven understanding of financial controls, compliance, and best practice </li> </ul><p><br></p><p>For further information or a confidential discussion, please contact Marc Norton at Artemis Human Capital, or apply via the link below. </p> </p><p><strong>Skills: </strong> <br>ACA ACCA CIMA Accountant </p><br/><p>WHJS1_NI </p>
