<p><p>Brook Street Recruitment is currently working on behalf of a leading commercial vehicle business to recruit a Sales Support Supervisor. <br><strong><br>Role Overview </strong> <br>Reporting to the General Manager, this is a key aftersales support position responsible for overseeing efficient sales order processing, accurate delivery coordination, and providing dependable support to the sales team. The successful candidate will act as a central link between customers, sales, logistics, and procurement, ensuring seamless operations and a high standard of customer satisfaction. <br><strong><br>Key Responsibilities </strong> </p><ul><li>Supervise the day-to-day activities of the sales support team, ensuring smooth order processing and on-time delivery </li><li>Coordinate all sales support and order processing functions across the business </li><li>Ensure accuracy of quotations, sales orders, and invoices, including correct parts, pricing, and stock levels </li><li>Liaise with depot parts teams to schedule and track deliveries </li><li>Monitor order progress and provide proactive updates to customers and sales representatives </li><li>Support the sales team with quotations, pricing, and product availability queries </li><li>Resolve order discrepancies, backorders, and delivery issues in a timely and professional manner </li><li>Maintain up-to-date product, pricing, and inventory data within internal systems </li><li>Work closely with purchasing, logistics, and finance teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment </li><li>Assist with the implementation of sales promotions and special offers relating to parts and accessories </li><li>Contribute to the development of the product range by identifying new opportunities and monitoring market trends </li><li>Undertake additional duties as required in line with the role </li> </ul><p><strong>Candidate Requirements </strong> </p><ul><li>Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is highly desirable </li><li>Proven experience in a sales support and customer service environment is essential </li><li>Understanding of field-based sales operations </li><li>Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle parts, with experience in the commercial vehicle or motor factor industry </li><li>Demonstrable commercial awareness and analytical ability </li><li>Confident decision-maker with strong negotiation skills </li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build credibility at all levels </li><li>Experience coordinating across multiple departments </li><li>Proactive, flexible, and methodical approach to work </li><li>High level of accuracy and attention to detail </li><li>Self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities </li><li>Strong time management skills and ability to work independently </li><li>Experience producing operational reports and using data to drive decisions </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel </li><li>Full, valid driving licence </li> </ul><p><strong>Hours of Work </strong><br>This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00.
