<p><p>Sales & Marketing Manager </p><p><strong>About Us </strong> </p><p>Steel Lintels Ireland is the exclusive distributer of Catnic Lintels across Ireland, with a strong focus on quality and reliability, the company is committed to delivering solutions within timeframes that support the demands of modern Irish builders. </p><p>We provide detailed, itemised schedules tailored to each project, ensuring every opening is matched with the correct lintel specification. In addition, our in-house engineering team designs bespoke lintel solutions, which are manufactured at our facility in Co. Down. </p><p><strong>Job Overview </strong> </p><p>We are seeking a driven, commercially and strategic focused Sales Professional to play a key role in expanding our presence across the Island of Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with industry experience to take ownership of lead generation, build a strong sales pipeline, and convert opportunities into long-term client partnerships. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives on winning business, building partnerships, staying one step ahead and thrives on targets. </p><p>Working within a fast-paced and growing business, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business while strengthening relationships with existing clients. You will bring a proactive, hands-on approach, identifying opportunities, pricing projects, and delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs and staying one step ahead. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong> </p><ul><li>Deliver and contribute to strategic Business Development Plans for key accounts </li><li>Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with Building Merchants, House Builders, Developers, Brickwork Contractors and Architects and Quantity Surveyors. </li><li>Proactively manage a live project pipeline ensuring quotes, schedules, and follow-ups are delivered on time </li><li>Identify and convert new business opportunities to strengthen market position </li><li>Drive lead generation to support business growth, building and maintaining a strong client pipeline </li><li>Act as a knowledgeable ambassador for our brand, products, and services </li><li>Keep our CRM system updated daily to ensure accurate pipeline tracking </li><li>Develop a thorough understanding of the business, including its current and future products and services </li><li>Deliver sales and business development activities for both new and existing clients of Steels Lintels </li><li>Establish and implement effective sales development processes to generate and convert leads </li><li>Manage and oversee current sales team activities, covering both new business and existing client relationships </li><li>Prepare and deliver sales presentations and attend meetings, conferences, buyer events, and industry exhibitions </li><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant internal procedures, external regulations, and quality standards </li><li>Undertake any additional duties as reasonably required from time to time, including oversee Sales Team performance </li> </ul><p><strong>Essential Criteria: </strong> </p><ul><li>Previous experience in a similar industry, or a strong background in Construction, Builders Merchants, and/or Engineering </li><li>Proven ability to price and estimate jobs accurately </li><li>Strong relationship management skills, with a track record of securing sales and obtaining new contracts </li><li>Proactive and driven, with the initiative to identify and pursue new business opportunities </li><li>Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment </li><li>Reliable, accountable, and hands-on in approach </li> </ul><p><strong>Desirable: </strong> </p><ul><li>Demonstrated success in business development, including evidence of obtaining new business and conducting field sales </li><li>Minimum of 45 years experience in a field sales role within the industry </li><li>Professional attitude, with excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail </li><li>Willingness to work towards agreed sales targets (to be discussed at pre-interview stage) </li> </ul><p><strong>Reporting to </strong> </p><p>Managing Director Steel Lintels </p><p><strong>Salary: </strong> </p><p>Competitive Salary Range </p><p>Commission + Commercial Vehicle + Fuel Card + Expenses (Pending location) </p><p>Open to negotiation depending on experience. </p><p>Laptop Phone and hybrid working on the road 50% and administration at home.
