<p><p><strong>Project Accountant (Global Manufacturing/Belfast) </strong> </p><p>VANRATH are delighted to be working in partnership with a dynamic global business to recruit a technically strong Project Accountant to join the growing finance team. Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager this is a newly created role as the business is going through a period of sustained growth and will offer significant progression opportunities. </p><p><strong> What's in it for you? </strong> </p><ul><li>£50000-£55000 + bonus + enhanced benefits </li><li>Progression Opportunities </li><li>Free onsite parking </li><li>Flexible/hybrid working </li> </ul><p><strong>What you'll do </strong> </p><ul><li><strong>P </strong>reparation of monthly review packs for portfolio and project managers </li><li>Prepare project analysis & cost reports and propose corrective action(s). </li><li>Completing rolling forecasts </li><li>Liaise with Project Managers/ Product Accountants/Industry Managers </li><li>Providing timely and accurate financial data to support successful management of the business. </li><li>Ensure requirements SSRO reporting are fulfilled, highlighting any controls weakness and understanding the commercial environment. </li><li>Liaising closely with the manufacturing function and understand the evolution of the product. </li><li>Prepare contract estimates for Multi Year Budget & rolling monthly forecast information o </li><li>Work closely with the wider IAS finance team providing analysis & support. </li><li>Ensure portfolio of projects meets all audit demands </li><li>Advance the development of IT tools, reporting techniques and skills through Oracle, digi dashboards and BI portals </li><li>Ensure financial integrity and adherence to process (UK GAAP, Chorus 2.0) </li><li>Highlight control weakness and escalate governance issues to Head of Finance </li><li>Provide financial guidance to project control team </li><li>Provide key inputs for the production of internal and external audit requirements </li><li>Carrying out month end processing activities, </li><li>Adhering to month end timetable </li><li>Review cost certificates </li><li>Continually improve data conception and accounting </li> </ul><p><strong> About you </strong> </p><ul><li>Proven ability to interact & communicate complex issues, across a wide range of stakeholders. </li><li>Qualified accountant (ICAI, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent) ideally with 1-3 years' PQE </li><li>Excellent financial and commercial acumen, but also strong communication and business partnering skills to manage and influence stakeholders inside and outside the company. </li><li>Strong understanding of ERP systems (ideally Oracle), TM1 experience, Power BI </li><li>Strong IT skills, highly proficient in MS Excel etc </li> </ul><p> For further information on this vacancy, or any other Senior Accountancy & Finance job in Belfast or Northern Ireland, apply via the link below or contact Joanne Gordon for a confidential chat today. </p> </p><p><strong>Skills: </strong> <br>Chartered Accountant Group Accountant Commercial Accountant Financial Accountant Big 4 trained </p><p><strong>Benefits: </strong> <br>+ bonus + benefits </p><br/><p>WHJS1_NI </p>
