<p><p>Further your career and take on a new challenge as a Functional Specialist! </p><p>We are recruiting for hybrid working Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics to make the most of their existing clinical knowledge and take on a new role with a leading, multi-national employer with Full time and Part time roles available. </p><p>As a Functional Specialist you will be providing unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Governments disability allowance (PIP) whilst ensuring a personalised, inclusive and empathetic service for the service user. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Benefits Include: </strong> </p><ul><li><strong>Starting salary of £39,500 + Bonus </strong><ul><li><strong>After approval you will be eligible for a discretionary bonus of 10% of base salary, subject to quality and performance </strong> </li> </ul> </li><li><strong>Salary increases upon successful completion of training stages </strong> </li><li>Hybrid, Full time </li><li>Training: Full time, 5 weeks </li><li>25 days Holidays per annum, rising to 27 days with service </li><li>Company Laptop and Mobile Phone provided </li><li>Access to Health & Wellbeing programme and Headspace mobile app </li><li>Annual charity day </li><li>Employee network groups </li><li>Company matched pension </li><li>Life assurance </li><li>15 weeks paid maternity </li><li>Cycle2work scheme </li> </ul><p><strong>Your New Role: </strong> </p><ul><li>As a multi-skilled Functional Specialist, you will manage caseloads from end to end which includes delivering face to face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls and paper based reports (PBR). </li><li>As a multi-skilled Functional Specialist, you will have greater job variety and autonomy to manage cases to conclusion. </li><li>You will assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual and cognitive impairments. </li><li>You will have time built into your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence and team meetings. </li> </ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements </strong> </p><ul type="disc"><li>Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic. </li><li>1+ years post qualification experience. </li><li>Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions. </li><li>Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy. </li> </ul> </p><p><strong>Skills: </strong> <br>Relevant experience Relevant qualification Valid Registration </p><br/><p>WHJS1_NI </p>
