This is a highly varied role within a busy finance team, offering genuine exposure across the wider business and the chance to make a real impact on financial performance and decision-making. </p><p><br></p><p>This is a great opportunity for a N<strong>ewly Qualified Accountant </strong> or an experienced professional who is looking to step into a more dynamic and forward-facing finance role within a stable and expanding business. </p><p><br></p><p>Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in producing accurate financial reporting, supporting operational teams, and helping to drive improvements across finance processes. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Benefits </strong> </p><ul><li>£40,000 £45,000 </li><li>Bonus scheme </li><li>Company pension scheme </li><li>28 days annual leave </li><li>Strong career development opportunities within a growing business </li> </ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong> </p><ul><li>Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts with clear financial analysis to support decision-making. </li><li>Support month and year-end close and liaise with external auditors. </li><li>Manage accruals, prepayments, and internal recharges across departments. </li><li>Maintain the fixed asset register and monitor capital expenditure. </li><li>Complete bank reconciliations and support finance agreements, including hire purchase. </li><li>Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory returns, including UK and ROI VAT. </li><li>Support wider reporting requirements and contribute to improvements in financial systems and processes. </li> </ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements </strong> </p><ul><li>Minimum 4 years experience in a similar accounting role </li><li>Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) </li><li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities </li><li>Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and accounting systems </li><li>Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach </li><li>Solid understanding of financial controls and reporting processes </li> </ul><p><br></p><p>Apply below or get in touch with <strong>Marc Norton at Artemis Human Capital </strong> for full detail. </p> </p><p><strong>Skills: </strong> <br>ACCA CIMA Accountant ACA </p><br/><p>WHJS1_NI </p>
