<h2>Multi Skilled Operative Public Realm - Cambridge </h2><p ><strong >Role: </strong><strong >Multi Skilled Operative (Public Realm) </strong> </p><p >We are seeking a skilled and adaptable individual to carry out maintenance, repair and improvement works across public realm assets, including paths, fencing, benches, bins and play equipment.<br/>The role involves inspecting public spaces such as play areas and public conveniences, recording defects and carrying out responsive repairs, including basic plumbing and carpentry. </p><p >You will respond to urgent issues including vandalism, damage and safety defects, ensuring risks to the public are addressed promptly.<br/>Duties also include supporting flood management activities such as monitoring water levels and operating sluice gates where required.<br/>You will install signage and temporary barriers in line with legislation and safe systems of work, including NRSWA requirements where applicable. </p><p >The role requires the safe use of tools, plant and equipment across a variety of maintenance and construction-related tasks.
