<b>Full job description </b><br><strong>Main Duties and Responsibilities </strong><br> Daily support for the weld production teams across three materials - Mild Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium<br> To support and lead improvement projects including introduction of new jigs/fixtures<br> Lead robotic welding projects - including, research, creation of business cases and implementation of cells<br> Help improve current processes and align these with the business' systems strategy<br> To develop quality assurance procedures, standards and specifications in order to deliver consistency across all areas of the business<br> To build effective working relationships with all colleagues<br> To identify best practice, both internally and externally<br> To create a "right-first-time" culture with accountability at every level <br> To support the manufacturing operation in solving output and quality issues, adopting a systematic approach.<br> Keep informed with manufacturing trends and approaches to developing efficient solutions.<br> Support the production team in the resolution of engineering related issues.<br> Adherence to our ISO 9001 Quality Management System & ISO 45001 Health & Safety Management System.<br> Adherence to company health and safety procedures.<br> Maintain a clean and tidy works area<br><strong>Job Specification </strong><br>- Qualifications, Experience, Skills, Qualities & Attributes required for the post<br> Qualified to Degree Level in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or similar discipline<br> 3 Years experience in Manufacturing Engineering within a manufacturing environment - experience within a welding department desirable<br> Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles<br> Knowledge of welding processes and best practices<br> Experience with robotics within a production environment<br> Experience with offline robot programming software's desirable<br> Ability to manage projects and track through to completion<br> Strong interpersonal/communication skills<br> A capacity to build effective team working relationships across a wide range of disciplines<br> Excellent organization/analytical skills and a keen eye for detail<br> Persistence and an ability to follow-through and implement sustainable solutions<br> Time management skills and an ability to focus on priorities<br> Flexibility in approach and in working arrangements<br> Administrative and report writing skills<br> An ability to promote and facilitate change<br> Strong IT Skills<br> Ability to use Solidworks or similar 3D modelling software to create jigs and fixtures<br><b>Other Info </b><br><b>Job Types: </b><br>Permanent<br><b>Schedule: </b><br>Monday - Friday<br><b>Work authorisation: </b><br>United Kingdom <br>To Apply Please forward your CV via the APPLY Now button below. <br/><p>WHJS1_NI </p>
