Interim Finance Business Partner

<p><p >MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service to recruit an Interim Finance Business Partner. This is an outstanding opportunity for a qualified finance professional to play a strategic leadership role within a high-profile public sector organisation delivering vital services across Northern Ireland. </p><p >As a key member of the Finance team, you will provide a complete financial management service to designated Directorates, supporting senior leaders with expert advice, robust governance, budgeting, forecasting and strategic decision-making. You will help drive value for money, continuous improvement and the development of a modern, responsive finance function. </p><p >This role will also support major transformation and cross-border initiatives, including the PEACE PLUS TACTICS Programme, focused on emergency response interoperability, training and mutual aid across communities. </p> <p ><strong>The Person </strong><br>You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ICAEW, CAI or equivalent) with at least 2 years' relevant experience delivering management accounting and financial analysis services to senior stakeholders. </p><p >You should demonstrate experience in: </p><ul><li>Strategic financial management and business partnering </li><li>Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis </li><li>Governance, controls and compliance </li><li>Influencing senior stakeholders and driving change </li><li>Process improvement and performance management </li><li>Advanced Excel and strong IT capability </li> </ul><p>A valid driving licence and access to transport is required.
