<p><strong>HGV Driver / Class 1 Driver </strong><br><strong>Pay: </strong> £16.42 – £24.63 per hour<br><strong>Start times:  </strong>Day and Night shifts<br><strong>Location: </strong> Varied – covering clients in Aylesford, Maidstone, Medway and Sittingbourne<br><strong>Contract: </strong> Temporary<br><strong>Job Description: </strong><br>We are currently recruiting professional and experienced HGV Drivers to support a range of clients across Aylesford, Maidstone, Medway and Sittingbourne. This is a temporary opportunity offering excellent hourly rates and day or night shifts.<br>This role is suitable for qualified LGV Class 1 Drivers, including C+E / CE Drivers, who are confident operating articulated vehicles and providing a high standard of service. Our clients are looking for reliable HGV and Class 1 who are flexible and safety focused.<br><strong>Candidate Requirements: </strong><br>To be successful in this position, you must:<br><ul><li>Hold a valid Class 1 C+E (CE) licence </li><li>Have held your LGV / HGV licence for a minimum of 1 year </li><li>Have at least 6 months on-the-road experience as a Class 1 or CE Driver </li><li>Be competent, compliant, and professional when working as an HGV Driver </li><li>Have a good understanding of drivers’ hours and road transport regulations </li><li>Be punctual, dependable, and able to represent clients positively </li> </ul><br><strong>What We Offer: </strong><br><ul><li>Competitive pay rates of £16.42 – £24.63 per hour </li><li>Temporary LGV / HGV driving assignments across multiple client sites </li><li>Ongoing opportunities for experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers </li> </ul><br>If you’re interested click apply now or call Erica or Stella at Pertemps Maidstone. </p>
