<p><strong>Class 2 HIAB Driver<br></strong><br><strong>Pay: </strong> £19.50 per hour<br><strong>Start time: </strong> 07:00<br><strong>Location: </strong> Whitstable<br><strong>Contract: </strong> Temporary (4 weeks cover)<br><strong>Job Description </strong><br>We are currently recruiting a professional and experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver to support our client based in Whitstable. This role is ideal for a qualified LGV / HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver who holds a valid ALLMI HIAB certificate and is confident completing deliveries safely and efficiently.<br>The work will involve operating a brick grab / remote-controlled HIAB, so previous experience with this type of equipment is essential.<br><strong>Candidate Requirements </strong><br><ul><li>Hold a valid Cat C (Class 2) licence </li><li>Have held your LGV / HGV Cat C licence for a minimum of 1 year </li><li>Have at least 6 months’ on-the-road experience as a Class 2 / HGV 2 Driver </li><li>Hold a valid HIAB certificate (ALLMI) with experience using a brick grab and remote </li><li>Be competent, compliant, and professional at all times </li><li>Have a good understanding of drivers’ hours and road transport regulations </li><li>Be punctual, reliable, and able to represent clients positively </li> </ul><strong>What We Offer </strong><br><ul><li>Competitive pay rate of <strong>£19.50 per hour </strong> </li><li>Temporary <strong>Class 2 / HGV 2 / HIAB </strong> driving work </li><li>Straightforward <strong>4‑week cover </strong> assignment </li> </ul><br>For more information click apply now or call Erica or Stella at Pertemps Maidstone </p>
