This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, hands-on finance professional to step into a broad and commercially focused role, overseeing a small finance team while playing a key part in supporting business performance and growth.<br><strong>About the role: </strong> </p><ul><li>Production of monthly management accounts with clear variance analysis and insight </li><li>Leading audit processes and acting as key contact for external auditors </li><li>Ownership of cash flow forecasting and liquidity management </li><li>Delivery of weekly KPI and balanced scorecard reporting to support decision-making </li><li>Responsibility for year-end accounts and audit readiness </li><li>Oversight of stock costing and margin analysis </li><li>Driving improvements in stock control processes and reporting </li><li>Management of invoice discounting facilities and related reporting </li><li>Oversight of credit control to improve cash collection and reduce debtor days </li><li>Preparation and submission of VAT returns and Intrastat reporting </li><li>Management of bank reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies </li><li>Liaison with banks and support on bank audits </li> </ul><p><br><strong>Your Experience: </strong> </p><ul><li>Qualified CIMA, ACA, ACCA </li><li>Proven experience operating at a senior level within finance </li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting standards and best practices </li><li>Advantageous to have experience of Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central </li><li>Excellent administration skills, organised and able to prioritise work load; </li> </ul><p><br></p><p>For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering making the next step in your career get in touch with James McCord @ HIREIQ </p> </p><p><strong>Skills: </strong> <br>management accounts budgeting forecasting costing financial analysis stock control </p><p><strong>Benefits: </strong> <br>hybrid working flexible hours pension parking </p><br/><p>WHJS1_NI </p>
