We’re committed to building an organisation where people from all walks of life feel they belong—where different voices, experiences, and backgrounds are valued and respected. </p> <p><br><strong>Interview process: </strong> Two Stage Interview Process<br><strong>Working pattern: </strong> On Site role including Weetabix Wednesday, where everyone comes into the office for some great collaboration and meetings - it’s a must! </p> <p><strong>We’re committed to supporting diversity and enabling everyone to perform their best. <br></strong> </p><p><strong>If you require any reasonable adjustments to the recruitment process, just let us know how we can support you. </strong> </p> <h3>Burton Latimer Manufacturing Site - Environmental, Health & Safety Manager </h3><h3><strong>The Recipe (About the Role) </strong> </h3><p>The Burton Latimer Site EHS Manager will deliver EHS expertise to drive high performance EHS teams with a view to ensuring that processes and systems are legally compliant, continuously improving and in deployed in accordance with the Weetabix Standard for Health and Safety and Weetabix Environment Standard. </p> <ul><li>Shape and manage the deployment of the EHS strategy within the Cluster, ensuring alignment with central EHS processes. </li><li>Provide EHS leadership to achieve EHS KPI goals and drive accountability in production teams. </li><li>Lead health & safety initiatives across Manufacturing, Warehouse, Transport, and Security, serving as a liaison with the central safety team. </li><li>Develop and maintain colleague competence through coaching to comply with regulations and achieve zero accidents and incidents. </li><li>Ensure talent development in the EHS team through effective recruitment, training, and collaboration with Union partners. </li><li>Support incident management, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning. </li><li>Drive closure of non-conformance actions through strong relationship management. </li><li>Coordinate with senior stakeholders and facilitate visits with regulatory agencies like HSE and EA. </li><li>Create and manage factory risk registers aligned with Weetabix strategies, leading to improved compliance and reduced incidents. </li><li>Oversee delivery of risk-based projects to enhance safety and environmental protection. </li><li>Implement the Workplace Safety & Health Systems (WSHS) audit programme to achieve the Green Standard. </li><li>Act as a Subject Matter Expert on safety, health, and environmental issues. </li> </ul> <h3><strong>The Ingredients (What we need from you) </strong> </h3> <p><em><strong>Key Know How </strong> </em> </p><ul><li>Extensive proven experience in a Senior Safety Health and Environmental Management role. </li><li>Demonstrated experience managing a team, change management and project management. </li><li>Experience of managing safety at a manufacturing site, or a lead role. </li><li>Ability to create, maintain and update all elements of Safety Health & Environmental Management. </li><li>Must have a high level of leadership skill and exhibit an exceptional level of motivational ability. </li><li>Ability to interpret UK Law and keep up to date with current industry thinking and developments. </li><li>Coaching and influencing skills used effectively with all levels of stakeholders, particularly production managers and front line teams. </li><li>Proactive change agent able to build advocacy at senior level. </li><li>Strong technical background in both Health & Safety and Level 6 NEBOSH Diploma certification. </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Your Bowl of Perks (Benefits) </strong> </h3><p><strong>Competitive salary + Car Allowance & Annual Flexible benefits </strong> </p> <p>We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your wellbeing, career, and life outside work. </p> <ul><li>Annual bonus 10<strong>% </strong> </li><li>Double-matched pension scheme (up to 12% from us) </li><li>25 days annual leave increasing with service </li><li>Annual Salary review </li><li>Healthcare plan </li><li>Discounted Weetabix products </li> </ul> <p>To support our employees, we also offer: </p> <ul><li>Continued investment in your personal development </li><li>We believe in balance, whether it's for family, rest or simply time for you.
