<p><p><strong>Compliance Officer (HR) </strong> </p><p><br></p><p>We are working with an industry leader, to recruit an experienced Compliance Officer (HR) to join the HR team in Co Cavan. This is a permanent role with an excellent salary, benefits package and bonus structure. </p><p><br></p><p>The Compliance Officer (HR) will be responsible for overseeing and continuously monitoring compliance across right-to-work and work permit requirements, working time regulations, HR data governance, and broader employment legislation. </p><p><br></p><p>The role ensures the organisation remains legally compliant, audit-ready, and proactive in identifying and managing HR-related risks. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Compliance Officer (HR) will be responsible for: </strong> </p><p><br></p><ul><li>Manage work permits, immigration, and right-to-work compliance, including applications, renewals, and expiry tracking. </li><li>Ensure compliance with working time legislation by monitoring hours, rest periods, and attendance records. </li><li>Support GDPR and people data compliance, including data retention, DSARs, and access controls. </li><li>Maintain accurate, audit-ready HR records and coordinate internal and external compliance audits. </li><li>Ensure all onboarding and employee lifecycle processes meet statutory and internal compliance requirements. </li><li>Track compliance metrics, identify risks, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement in HR controls and processes. </li> </ul><p><strong>What you will need to have for the Compliance Officer (HR) role: </strong> </p><p><br></p><ul><li>35 years of experience in HR operations, HR compliance, or workforce compliance roles. </li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Irish work permits / immigration processes. </li><li>Working knowledge of Irish employment law, particularly working time legislation. </li><li>Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or regulated environments desirable but not essential </li> </ul><p><br></p><p><strong>There is a detailed description available on request </strong> </p><p><br></p><p><br></p> </p><p><strong>Skills: </strong> <br>Work Permits, right to work compliance, HR </p><br/><p>WHJS1_NI </p>
