<p><p><strong>Civil Technician (Water / Wastewater) | Belfast </strong><br>Vickerstock are working in partnership with a local, multi-disciplinary consultancy to recruit a Civil Technician to join their Belfast team.<br>This role will suit a technician with experience in the water and wastewater sector, who enjoys working on technically challenging infrastructure projects and contributing to the delivery of essential utility schemes. You will be joining a collaborative design team working across a broad portfolio of projects supporting the planning, upgrade, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure.<br><strong>Your new role as Civil Technician </strong><br>As Civil Technician, you will support the engineering team in producing detailed technical drawings and models across a range of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.<br><strong>Key responsibilities will include: </strong> </p><ul><li>Producing 2D drawings and 3D models for civil engineering projects within the water and wastewater sector. </li><li>Supporting the design of infrastructure such as pumping stations, treatment works, pipelines, and associated site infrastructure. </li><li>Preparing general arrangements, sections, and construction drawings in line with project requirements. </li><li>Working closely with engineers to translate design concepts into coordinated technical outputs. </li><li>Assisting with the preparation of design documentation and technical deliverables. </li><li>Coordinating drawings with other disciplines to ensure consistency and accuracy across project information. </li><li>Maintaining drawing standards and ensuring outputs comply with project specifications and industry standards. </li> </ul><p><strong>What you'll need to succeed as Civil Technician </strong><br>To be considered for this role, you should demonstrate: </p><ul><li>Experience working as a Civil Technician within an engineering consultancy or design environment. </li><li>Previous involvement in water or wastewater infrastructure projects. </li><li>Strong capability in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D. </li><li>An understanding of civil engineering design and construction principles. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality technical drawings. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams. </li><li>A proactive approach and willingness to develop technical skills further. </li> </ul><p><strong>What's in it for you? </strong><br>In return, you'll receive a competitive salary and benefits package that includes: </p><ul><li>Base salary of £35,000 - £45,000, dependent on experience. </li><li>Opportunity to work on major water and wastewater infrastructure projects. </li><li>Exposure to technically interesting design work within a specialist sector. </li><li>Supportive team environment with experienced engineers and technicians. </li><li>Ongoing training and development opportunities. </li><li>Clear pathways for career progression within a growing consultancy. </li> </ul><p><strong>For a confidential discussion on this or any other opportunities within the Civil & Structural Engineering sector, contact Brian Mitchell at Vickerstock Recruitment </strong>. </p> </p><p><strong>Skills: </strong> <br>Water Wastewater WWTW WTW Watermains Pumping stations </p><p><strong>Benefits: </strong> <br>Work From Home </p><br/><p>WHJS1_NI </p>
