<p><p><strong>Pay: </strong> £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Assistant Manager Builders Supplies </strong> </p><p><strong>Location: </strong> Ballynahinch </p><p><strong>Salary: </strong> £35,000 - £40,000 per year (DOE)<br><strong>Hours: </strong> Monday Friday (7/8am 4/5pm) & Saturdays 8am 12pm<br>Immediate Start Available </p><p><br></p><p>We are looking for a motivated and reliable Assistant Manager to join our growing builders supplies business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in a builders merchants or similar trade supply environment who is looking to progress into a full management role within the next 2 years. </p><p>The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the branch, supporting across trade counter operations, sales, customer service, stock control, and yard operations. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong> </p><ul><li>Supporting the daily running of the branch </li><li>Assisting customers on the trade counter </li><li>Handling sales enquiries and processing orders </li><li>Supporting yard operations and stock management </li><li>Delivering excellent customer service to trade and retail customers </li><li>Assisting with staff supervision and operational organisation </li><li>Helping maintain health & safety standards across the site </li><li>Building strong relationships with customers and suppliers </li> </ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements </strong> </p><ul><li>Previous experience within a builders merchants, building supplies, or similar trade environment is essential </li><li>Strong customer service and communication skills </li><li>Good organisational and problem-solving abilities </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Leadership potential with a desire to progress into management </li><li>Forklift licence beneficial but not essential </li> </ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What We Offer </strong> </p><ul><li>Starting salary of £30,000 per year </li><li>Progression path into management in the next 2 years </li><li>Stable, long-term opportunity </li><li>Immediate start available </li><li>Supportive working environment with opportunities to develop skills and responsibilities </li> </ul><p><br></p><p>If youre interested in applying for this role please either send your CV via the link provided or directly to </p><p><br></p><p>For further information call Jess at Kenect Recruitment - </p> </p><br/><p>WHJS1_NI </p>
