Job description
<p>We are urgently looking to onboard Quality Technicians for upcoming projects across the UK & Ireland.</p><p><br><br>All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.<br></p><p>Key Requirements:</p><p>Right to work in the UK (mandatory)</p><p>Working hours: 10h/day, 60h/week</p><p>Rotations in line with local/company regulations</p><p>Must meet HSE standards, including:</p><p>PPE</p><p>Laptop & phone</p><p>Suitable vehicle</p><p>Valid GWO certifications</p><p><br></p><p>Scope</p><p>• Supervise the execution of the foundations of the turbines of the wind farm.</p><p>• Quality review of main components when arriving to site.</p><p>• Quality review of minor components at the site warehouse.</p><p>• Creation of punch items.</p><p>• Drafting and management of non-conformities.</p><p>• Audit the execution of the works.</p><p>• Quality review of the complete WTG when finished, according to Nordex standards.</p><p>• Report to the Quality Department the progress of the project.</p><p><br></p><p>Description</p><p>The work will be performed by a qualified technician/s, with experience in renewable energy with</p><p>Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Vocational Education (FP) might be</p><p>accepted. The technician/s will have a car to be able to move across the wind farm and the protective</p><p>personal equipment (PPE) necessary to access to the wind farm as well as equipment for working at height.</p><p>Certificates of trainings in working at height (GWO or similar) will be provided. xwzovoh Besides, the technician/s</p><p>should also have all the equipment to develop their activities such as laptop, and smart phone.</p><p><br></p><p>Equipment</p><p>• PPEs for working at heights</p><p>• PPEs according to RD614/2001, EN50110-1 or equivalent for local regulations</p><p>• Individual car (in compliance with local regulations, in and out of the construction site)</p><p>• Laptop</p><p>• Smart phone</p><p><br></p><p>Special trainings</p><p>There are some specific trainings the worker must be trained on:</p><p>• GWO BST (Basic Safety Training)</p><p>• Electrical Risk training, according to RD614/2001, EN50110-1 or equivalent for local regulations</p><p>• Corresponding Service Lift (Jaso, Hailo or 3S) training for use</p><p>• Corresponding Service Lift (Jaso, Hailo or 3S) training for certification/installation (only for DIN</p><p>projects)</p><p>• Avanti fall arrester certification (only for DIN projects)</p>
