This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading company and be part of a new dynamic workshop team.Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Weld ferrous and non-ferrous pipework in support of pipe fabrication activities worked from isometric drawings.</li><li>Produce butt welds and fillet welds using TIG and MMA welding processes, also able to use MIG for supports / steelwork.</li><li>Carry out welding in accordance with approved site Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and site standards.</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area in compliance with UK health and safety regulations.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Proven experience welding Ferrous and Non Ferrous pipework within the oil & gas or heavy industrial sectors e.g. refining, petrochemical, nuclear, shipbuilding.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings, WPS, and welding documentation</li><li>Qualified to ISO 9606 standards, including but not limited to Butt weld -6G position (TIG / MMA) in carbon steel and (TIG) in stainless steel.</li><li>Valid welder coding to ISO 9606-1 for relevant processes (TIG and / or MMA), with supporting procedure qualifications (ISO 15614).</li><li>Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.</li></ul><p>This role is inside IR35. Rates advertised are PAYE. xwzovoh The site location is SO45 1TX. Candidates must have a driving license to enable independent commuting to work and travel on site.</p>
