Ventilation Engineer<br><br>Please read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.<br>- London & Home Counties Hill McGlynn is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing building services contractor for an experienced Ventilation Engineer to join their team covering London and the Home Counties.<br><br>This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for stability, strong earning potential, and long-term career progression.<br><br>Salary & Package<br>- £42,000<br>- £48,000 basic (dependent on experience and qualifications)<br>- OTE £65,000<br>- £75,000 with overtime and bonuses<br>- Travel time paid on any travel over 1 hour per day<br>- Regular overtime opportunities to significantly boost earnings<br>- Company van, fuel card, phone, and uniform provided<br>- 28 days paid holiday<br>- Company pension scheme<br>- Full-time, permanent position Role Overview You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of ventilation systems across commercial sites throughout London and the Home Counties, with a strong focus on kitchen extract and supply systems.<br><br>Key Requirements<br>- Minimum 5 years' experience within the M&E sector<br>- Experience leading on kitchen extract and supply fan replacements<br>- Ability to carry out small ductwork modifications and installations<br>- Experience installing and replacing kitchen supply and extract fans<br>- Electrical knowledge and experience including:<br>- Wiring replacement fans<br>- Working with inverters<br>- Working on kitchen interlock systems<br>- Ability to produce clear and detailed remedial and repair reports<br>- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team<br>- Previous experience working within commercial environments<br>- Participation in a 1-in-4 call-out rota<br>- Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 points) Why Apply?
