Test Validation Engineer

This role focuses on the development and validation of next-generation electric powertrain systems, specifically Power Electronics and Motor/Generator technologies.</p><p>The successful candidate will act as the key interface between the design engineering teams and the test facility, combining hands-on test execution with analysis, validation, and technical problem-solving.</p><p><br><br>Below covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants.<br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage daily test cell activities including setup, execution, and data acquisition</li><li>Develop and execute test procedures for electrical powertrain validation</li><li>Collaborate with Power Electronics and Motor design teams to define validation requirements and test plans</li><li>Investigate system and component issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions through to closure</li><li>Correlate simulation and design data with physical test results using tools such as MATLAB and Ansys</li><li>Generate technical reports and present findings to internal stakeholders</li><li>Support test facility operations including instrumentation, DAQ systems, and troubleshooting</li><li>Ensure high standards of data quality, validation, and reporting</li><li>Coordinate hardware updates, manage test assets, and support build changes</li><li>Apply structured problem-solving methodologies such as Fault Tree Analysis</li></ul><p><strong>Required Experience & Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in powertrain or electrical testing environments</li><li>Strong hands-on experience in validation, testing, and failure analysis</li><li>Proficiency in data acquisition systems and data analysis</li><li>Ability to interpret test requirements and configure instrumentation effectively</li></ul><p><br></p><p>This is an opportunity to play a key role in validating advanced electric powertrain technologies within a collaborative and technically challenging environment. xwzovoh </p><p>To find out more or apply, please get in touch directly.</p>
