Test Coordinator

<p><strong>Scope</strong></p><p>This role sits at the core of test operations within a newly constructed hydrogen test facility supporting <strong>hydrogen-powered aviation programme</strong>. The position carries direct operational accountability for the safe preparation, control, and execution of testing activities on fuel, hydrogen, and nitrogen rigs, operating in a highly regulated and safety-critical environment.</p><p><br><br>Make your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position.<br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Support operational ownership of assigned<strong> test rigs</strong> </li><li>Plan, coordinate, and control rig activities in line with approved test procedures and test schedules </li><li>Ensure rigs are correctly <strong>configured, powered, commissioned, and verified</strong> prior to test execution </li><li>Confirm correct <strong>supply, control, isolation, and configuration</strong> of fuel, hydrogen, and nitrogen systems </li><li>Conduct and document <strong>pre-test safety checks</strong>, system validations, and readiness reviews </li><li>Enforce compliance with<strong> safety standards</strong> and applicable UK regulations, including <strong>COMAH and DSEAR</strong> </li><li>Coordinate closely with <strong>test engineers, facility teams, safety representatives, and project stakeholders</strong> </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience working in <strong>rig operations, industrial plant control, or complex gas and fuel system environments</strong> </li><li>Experience operating in a <strong>test control, operational authority, or equivalent responsible role</strong> </li><li>Hands-on exposure to <strong>pressurised gas systems, fuel systems, or hydrogen infrastructure</strong> </li><li>Experience operating equipment within <strong>controlled test or operational environments</strong> </li><li>Experience supporting live testing activities and managing system behavior in real time</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Strong understanding of <strong>pressurised systems</strong>, gas handling, and fuel-based test infrastructure xwzovoh </li><li>Experience working with <strong>instrumentation and control systems</strong>, including pressure, temperature, flow, and HMI/SCADA interfaces </li><li>High level of <strong>safety awareness</strong> when operating in hazardous environments, particularly involving hydrogen or fuel systems </li><li>Understanding of <strong>permit-to-work systems</strong> and formal safe systems of work </li><li>Ability to make <strong>real-time operational decisions</strong> while maintaining safety and procedural compliance </li><li>Strong <strong>communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement</strong> skills </li><li>Methodical, disciplined, and <strong>safety-first mindset</strong></li></ul>
