Tele-Truck Driver (Timber Yard)<br><br>Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.<br>Location: Wem Pay Rate: From £14.00 per hour (depending on experience) Hours:<br>Monday Thursday: 7:00am 5:00pm<br>Friday: 7:00am 1:00pm<br>The Role<br>We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Tele-Truck Driver to join a busy and well-established timber yard team.<br>This role is ideally suited to candidates with timber yard or builders merchant experience, rather than construction site telehandler operators. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily yard operations, ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Operating a tele-truck to move timber and building materials around the yard<br>Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently<br>Supporting general yard duties when required<br>Assisting with stock organisation and storage<br>Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times<br>Requirements<br>Previous tele-truck or telehandler experience essential<br>Timber yard or builders merchant experience preferred<br>Valid licence/certification to operate telehandler machinery<br>Strong awareness of health and safety practices<br>Reliable, hardworking, and able to worko work as part of a team<br>Whats on Offer<br>Starting pay from £14.00 per hour, with increases based on experience xwzovoh and successful trial period<br>Stable, full-time hours with early Friday finish<br>Friendly and supportive working environment<br>Long-term opportunity with a reputable employer<br>Benefits (upon permanent employment):<br>28 days holiday (including bank holidays)<br>1 additional day off for your birthday after two years service<br>Increased holiday allowance with length of service<br>Pension scheme<br>Death in service benefit<br>Free parking
