A high volume of applicants is expected for the role as detailed below, do not wait to send your CV.<br><p>We are exclusively supporting a long-established UK engineering manufacturer specialising in the design and build of industrial paint finishing systems and thermal curing ovens.</p><p>They are now seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join their commercial function, operating in a consultative, solution-led capacity across UK manufacturing and industrial clients.</p><p>This is a high-trust, senior-facing role reporting directly to the Managing Director.</p><p>This is not a transactional sales position.</p><p>The successful candidate will be responsible for engineering-led solution selling, working with end users to design and specify bespoke finishing systems including spray booths, powder coating environments, and curing ovens.</p><p>You will act as a key technical interface between customer requirements and internal engineering capability.</p><p>Technical Sales Engineer - Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Develop new business and manage key accounts across UK industry</li><li>Conduct site surveys and technical consultations with production teams</li><li>Translate customer requirements into engineered system solutions</li><li>Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical specifications</li><li>Liaise with internal design and production teams through project lifecycle</li><li>Manage full sales cycle from enquiry through to order and delivery</li><li>Occasional international travel as required</li></ul><p>Technical Sales Engineer - Ideal Background:</p><ul><li>Paint & powder coating systems</li><li>Industrial spray booth manufacturers</li><li>Thermal processing / industrial oven equipment</li><li>Surface finishing / capital equipment sales environments</li></ul><p>Essential requirements:</p><ul><li>Minimum 2+ years’ xwzovoh experience in technical sales or application engineering</li><li>Strong understanding of engineering principles and industrial manufacturing processes</li><li>Confident client-facing communicator with consultative approach</li><li>UK driving licence</li><li>Willingness to travel frequently</li></ul><p>Technical Sales Engineer - The Package:</p><ul><li>£50,000 – £85,000 basic salary (DOE)</li><li>Uncapped commission structure</li><li>Company car</li><li>Hybrid working flexibility</li><li>On-site parking</li><li>Long-term progression in a specialist engineering environment</li></ul>
