<p><strong>Role: Technical Project Manager</strong></p><p><strong>Location: Bracknell</strong></p><p><strong>Salary: £40,000 – £45,000</strong></p><p><strong>Employment type: Hybrid | Full-Time</strong></p><p><br><br>Please make an application promptly if you are a good match for this role due to high levels of interest.<br></p><p>We’re working with a growing specialist business delivering data centre services across the UK, supporting projects across IT relocations, hardware installations, structured cabling, and critical infrastructure upgrades.</p><p><br></p><p>They’re looking for a Technical Project Manager to join the delivery team, taking ownership of data centre migration projects, structured cabling installations, and hardware deployment projects from initial scope through to final delivery.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong></p><ul><li>Managing data centre migration and structured cabbling projects from inception through to handover</li><li>Carrying out site visits, surveys, and scoping meetings to define client requirements</li><li>Designing and estimating structured cabling solutions across data centre and commercial environments</li><li>Producing design packages, patching schedules, and cable connectivity schematics</li><li>Managing project delivery plans, timelines, and internal reporting</li><li>Overseeing internal engineering teams, subcontractors, and supplier relationships</li><li>Acting as a quality control point for structured cabling installations, ensuring best practice and industry standards are met</li><li>Supporting project delivery across multiple client sites, predominantly across the South of the UK</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What we’re looking for:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 3+ years’ experience in structured cabling design and installation</li><li>Strong experience across both copper and fibre installations within data centre and commercial environments</li><li>Excellent understanding of CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, OM3, OM4, and OS2 systems</li><li>Strong knowledge of installation standards, testing procedures, and manufacturer best practice</li><li>Experience producing design documentation xwzovoh and using tools such as Microsoft Visio and MS Office</li><li>Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders</li><li>SC Clearance would be highly beneficial</li><li>Previous data centre migration experience would be a major advantage</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What’s on offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive basic salary with optional overtime available</li><li>Clear progression path within a fast-growing business</li><li>Annual salary reviews</li><li>25 days holiday plus pension contribution</li><li>Hybrid working model with regular site exposure</li><li>Long-term opportunity within a specialist technical environment</li></ul>
