EYFS Teaching Assistant<br><br>Increase your chances of an interview by reading the following overview of this role before making an application.<br>- Location: Stafford<br>- Start Date: 20/04/2026 We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our excellent range of partner schools across Stafford and Stone.<br><br>Your duties as an Early Years Teaching Assistant involve working alongside the class teacher to help in delivering consistent and fulfilling support to each and every child.<br><br>You will also be supporting individual pupils including those with an EHCP.<br><br>You will have the opportunity to build experience across a range of EYFS settings, supporting children at key stages of their early development.<br><br>You will play a vital role in the classroom, helping to deliver engaging activities, supporting learning through play, and ensuring every child feels safe, included, and encouraged to reach their full potential.<br><br>This role is ideal for someone adaptable, nurturing, and confident stepping into different school environments while maintaining a positive and professional approach.<br><br>The Role includes: Working alongside the Early Years Class Teacher to deliver stimulating and fulfilling lessons within the Early Years.<br><br>Provide ongoing SEND support for individual pupils including those with an EHCP.<br><br>You must be confident in supporting the class teacher to provide tailored care and support across the classroom.<br><br>Working well alongside colleagues; with the ability to quickly create and maintain trusting, strong and professional relationships.<br><br>What we are looking for: An experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant who shares a passion and drive for supporting pupils within the younger years of the primary school setting.<br><br>Holds NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants (or above).<br><br>Have both high expectations of themselves and pupils; pushing the children to grow and flourish within the class.<br><br>Have a genuine passion and interest in supporting the early stages of pupils' academic and personal development.<br><br>Somebody who is able to adapt and jump into different school environments; creating strong, trusting relationships with staff.<br><br>You will be working on a temporary basis, supporting EYFS in a variety of our partner schools.<br><br>We work with you providing work when suits around your lifestyle and commitments.<br><br>Comfortable to commute to a veriety of schools across Stafford and Stone on daily basis.<br><br>Pay: £93<br>- £100 a day (dependent on experience) holiday pay is included in the day rate.<br><br>If you are a Primary Teacher looking for supply opportunities across a range of primary schools in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire, click the APPLY NOW button below to send us your most recent CV for prompt consideration.<br><br>Academics is committed to safe recruitment practices, as well as safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children and young people.<br><br>All applicants are expected to uphold this commitment. xwzovoh <br><br>Placements are subject to safeguarding and child protection checks in accordance with DfE policies, including verification of the right to work, employment references, and an enhanced DBS check.
