<p>Job Description</p><br>A high number of candidates may make applications for this position, so make sure to send your CV and application through as soon as possible.<br><p>We are currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to work within a secondary school setting, supporting young people across the school day.</p><p>This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate, offering the chance to secure a long-term role in a supportive and structured environment.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Supporting students during lessons and throughout the school day</li><li>Providing 1:1 or small-group support, depending on pupil needs</li><li>Assisting with engagement, behaviour, and emotional regulation</li><li>Working collaboratively with teaching and support staff</li><li>Maintaining safeguarding and health & safety standards at all times</li><li>Adapting to cover different classes or year groups when required</li></ul><p>The Ideal Candidate</p><ul><li>Reliable, flexible, and confident working with secondary-age students</li><li>Experience working with children or young people is advantageous but not essential</li><li>Comfortable supporting students with additional needs</li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills</li><li>Able xwzovoh to commit to full-time, term-time hours</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Enhanced DBS (Child & Adult preferred; Child-only considered)</li><li>GCSE Maths and English at Grade C / Level 4 or above (or equivalent)</li><li>Access to your own transport is required</li><li>Willing to complete an application and safeguarding questions prior to interview</li></ul>
