At Sizewell C, Altrad is a key delivery partner within the Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC (MEH) Alliance, supporting one of the UK’s largest and most complex nuclear new-build programmes.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p><p>The supply teamwork within a highly collaborative and integrated Alliance environment, they are commercially responsible on any work package or contract assigned to them, for all pre and post contract commercial issues relating to a contract on the SZC project.</p><p>The Supply chain specialist promote the SZC Project, its values and behaviours, and ensure that SZC Project requirements are met and successfully delivered.</p><p>You will be working closely and pro-actively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. This includes working as part of a multi-disciplinary team within a technically complex Programme.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Contribute to the development and refinement of the acquisition plan for MEH services and equipment</li><li>Regular & pro-active liaison & support to SZC and MEH customers and stakeholders</li><li>Development and execution of procurement strategies</li><li>Leading the ITT (Invitation to Tender) process for a wide variety of services and equipment</li><li>Developing long-term Contracting strategies</li><li>Maintain market understanding & due diligence</li><li>To develop, implement and maintain appropriate performance measures for the contracts</li><li>Devise and implement appropriate supplier development strategies</li><li>Devise and implement supplier quality improvement programmes, cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives with the supply chain</li><li>Work closely with the other Supply Chain teams to set and drive metric performance measures with suppliers for continuous performance monitoring.</li><li>Develop strategies that incentivise suppliers to deliver performance objectives.</li><li>To understand and mitigate supply market risks.</li><li>Accountable to the MEH Supply Chain Manager for delivery of business plan targets</li><li>Ensure stakeholders are kept informed of any change in market conditions within your area of responsibility</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>A degree and or experience leading to a relevant professional qualification</li><li>Experience within a supply chain or Procurement role</li><li>Ability to promote effective teamwork by personally acting as a mentor & role model</li><li>Detailed working knowledge of the Procurement and Contract Management</li><li>Ability to communicate and network at all levels</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why Join Altrad at Sizewell C?</strong></p><ul><li>Be part of one of the UK’s largest nuclear new-build programmes</li><li>A collaborative, safety-driven and professional working environment</li><li>Competitive salary and benefits package.</li><li>Opportunities for career growth and professional development. xwzovoh </li><li>Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a focus on innovation and excellence.</li></ul>
