Stock Controller Full time, Fixed term contract £12.71 rising to £13.98 after 3 months 37.5 hours per week Protein Works is a high-growth DTC nutrition brand with a clear mission: help people live healthier, happier lives through the power of nutrition.<br><br>Are you ready to apply Make sure you understand all the responsibilities and tasks associated with this role before proceeding.<br><br>Based at our brand-new PW Campus in Speke, Liverpool, we are looking for detail-oriented Stock Controllers to manage stock accuracy, streamline warehouse operations, and ensure our inventory systems mirror reality.<br><br>In this role, you wont just count stock<br>- you will investigate discrepancies, optimise stock rotation, and collaborate across teams to prevent shortages.<br><br>If you have a sharp eye for detail, experience with WMS/ERP systems, and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you.<br><br>Key Responsibilities Conduct routine cycle counts of inventory to maintain stock accuracy and investigate discrepancies.<br><br>Ensure all stock variances are identified, analysed, and corrected in a timely manner.<br><br>Manage and monitor BBE dates, ensuring correct stock rotation using FIFO/FEFO principles where applicable.<br><br>Maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse management systems (WMS) Monitor stock movements, including goods received, transfers, and stock issues.<br><br>Work closely with Production, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to ensure stock availability and avoid shortages.<br><br>Support stock audits and assist with inventory reconciliation activities.<br><br>Investigate root causes of stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions.<br><br>Ensure stock handling follows company procedures and quality standards.<br><br>Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.<br><br>Skills & Experience Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, or warehouse operations.<br><br>Strong understanding of inventory management principles including cycle counting and stock reconciliation.<br><br>Experience managing BBE/expiry-controlled stock.<br><br>Good numerical and analytical skills.<br><br>Experience using ERP/WMS systems.<br><br>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.<br><br>Good communication and organisational skills.<br><br>Experience within manufacturing, food, pharmaceutical, or FMCG environments.<br><br>Understanding of FIFO/FEFO stock management practices.<br><br>Why Join Us?
