<p><strong>Staff NLP Engineer – LLMs / Search / AI Systems</strong></p><p>London (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)</p><p>£90,000 – £110,000 + Equity</p><p><br><br>Increase your chances of reaching the interview stage by reading the complete job description and applying promptly.<br></p><p>I'm working with an <strong>AI-first technology platform</strong> transforming how complex intellectual property research is done using <strong>Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models and advanced search systems</strong>.</p><p><br></p><p>They were <strong>early adopters of LLMs</strong> and are now building <strong>agentic AI workflows</strong> capable of autonomously answering complex research questions.</p><p>They're looking for a <strong>Staff NLP Engineer</strong> to lead the development of their <strong>language and search systems</strong>.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>You'll work on the core AI systems powering the platform, including:</p><p>• Improving <strong>search relevance and ranking (precision & recall)</strong></p><p>• Designing <strong>LLM-powered NLP pipelines</strong></p><p>• Developing <strong>language models and NLP systems</strong> for production</p><p>• Building and optimising <strong>large-scale search infrastructure</strong></p><p>• Developing <strong>agentic LLM workflows</strong> for complex research tasks</p><p>• Contributing to the <strong>technical direction of NLP and data systems</strong></p><p>This is a <strong>hands-on role</strong> with significant influence on the evolution of the company's AI capabilities.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What they're looking for</strong></p><p>• Strong <strong>Python</strong> experience</p><p>• Commercial <strong>Natural Language Processing (NLP)</strong> experience</p><p>• Experience building <strong>production ML/NLP systems</strong></p><p>• Experience with <strong>TensorFlow or PyTorch</strong></p><p>• Experience with <strong>search technologies</strong> (Elasticsearch, OpenSearch etc.)</p><p>• Experience working with <strong>large datasets or language systems</strong></p><p>Experience with <strong>LLMs or information retrieval systems</strong> would be beneficial. xwzovoh </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Package</strong></p><p>• £90,000 – £110,000 salary</p><p>• Stock option plan</p><p>• 25 days holiday</p><p>• Pension contributions</p><p>• Flexible working</p><p>• Ongoing learning & development</p><p><strong>Apply or message me directly if you'd like to learn more.</strong></p>
