Our service specialises in high-quality, evidence-based assessments for autism and ADHD, delivered through both NHS-funded referrals and private pathways. As a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner, you’ll contribute to comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments, helping ensure timely, accurate diagnoses that lead to appropriate support and improved outcomes for families.</p><p><br></p><p>You will be responsible for:</p><ul><li>Conducting <strong>face-to-face structured observations</strong> as part of the neurodevelopmental assessment process.</li><li>Conducting <strong>remote developmental history interviews</strong> with parents and carers via Zoom</li><li>Participating collaboratively in <strong>peer MDT diagnostic discussions</strong>, supported by senior clinicians where needed</li><li>Delivering clear, compassionate <strong>feedback </strong>to families</li><li>Producing accurate <strong>clinical reports, </strong>including <strong>diagnostic formulations</strong>, with the help of our smart tools</li><li>Working efficiently to meet service <strong>Key Performance Indicatiors</strong> (KPIs)</li><li>Delivering <strong>clinical supervision</strong> (where applicable)</li><li>Able to travel to a clinic base to conduct in-person assessments, (hybrid only) </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Our Ways of Working:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Digital workflows and smart report-writing reduce admin time and enhance clinical impact.</strong></li><li>A <strong>custom-built electronic health record system</strong>, developed in-house using market leading research</li><li><strong>Continuously enhancing internal systems, based on employee feedback to improve efficiency</strong></li><li><strong>Ongoing training and onboarding</strong> to ensure confidence in all tech and systems</li><li><strong>In-house</strong> <strong>IT and operational support</strong>, so you're never left troubleshooting alone</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications and experience</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 1 years' professional registration with one of the following regulatory bodies: <strong>HCPC, NMC, GMC or Social Work England</strong>. Such as:</li><li><strong>HCPC</strong> – Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Educational Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist</li><li><strong>NMC</strong> – Mental Health Nurse, Learning Disability Nurse, General Nurse, Children’s Nurse</li><li><strong>GMC </strong>– Medical Practitioners</li><li><strong>Social Work England</strong> – Social Worker</li><li>Minimum of 1 years’ experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people</li><li>Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations</li><li>In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for autism and ADHD</li><li>Trained and experienced in the use of diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, etc</li><li>Effective time management and caseload organisation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands and meet clinical deadlines</li><li>Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and participate in collaborative diagnostic discussions.</li><li>Highly developed written language skills used to produce high-quality clinical reports</li><li>Well-developed communication skills with children, young people, and their families, ensuring compassionate, clear, and professional interactions throughout the assessment process </li><li>Must be eligible to work in the UK</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why work with Evolve?</strong></p><p>Be part of a supportive, purpose-driven team dedicated to transforming neurodevelopmental care across the UK.
