You’ll join a passionate and supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people. Our service specialises in high-quality, evidence-based assessments for autism and ADHD, delivered through both NHS-funded referrals and private pathways. As a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner, you’ll contribute to comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments, helping ensure timely, accurate diagnoses that lead to appropriate support and improved outcomes for families. You will be responsible for:<ul><li>Conducting face-to-face structured observations as part of the neurodevelopmental assessment process.</li><li>Conducting remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via Zoom</li><li>Participating collaboratively in peer MDT diagnostic discussions, supported by senior clinicians where needed</li><li>Delivering clear, compassionate feedback to families</li><li>Producing accurate clinical reports, including diagnostic formulations, with the help of our smart tools</li><li>Working efficiently to meet service Key Performance Indicatiors (KPIs)</li><li>Delivering clinical supervision (where applicable)</li><li>Able to travel to a clinic base to conduct in-person assessments, (hybrid only) </li></ul> Our Ways of Working:<ul><li>Digital workflows and smart report-writing reduce admin time and enhance clinical impact.</li><li>A custom-built electronic health record system, developed in-house using market leading research</li><li>Continuously enhancing internal systems, based on employee feedback to improve efficiency</li><li>Ongoing training and onboarding to ensure confidence in all tech and systems</li><li>In-house IT and operational support, so you're never left troubleshooting alone</li></ul> Qualifications and experience<ul><li>Minimum of 1 years' professional registration with one of the following regulatory bodies: HCPC, NMC, GMC or Social Work England. Such as:</li><li>HCPC – Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Educational Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist</li><li>NMC – Mental Health Nurse, Learning Disability Nurse, General Nurse, Children’s Nurse</li><li>GMC – Medical Practitioners</li><li>Social Work England – Social Worker</li><li>Minimum of 1 years’ experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people</li><li>Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations</li><li>In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for autism and ADHD</li><li>Trained and experienced in the use of diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, etc</li><li>Effective time management and caseload organisation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands and meet clinical deadlines</li><li>Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and participate in collaborative diagnostic discussions.</li><li>Highly developed written language skills used to produce high-quality clinical reports</li><li>Well-developed communication skills with children, young people, and their families, ensuring compassionate, clear, and professional interactions throughout the assessment process </li><li>Must be eligible to work in the UK</li></ul> Why work with Evolve?Be part of a supportive, purpose-driven team dedicated to transforming neurodevelopmental care across the UK.
