Sous Chef - Bournemouth<br><br>Please ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely.<br><br>Salary: £33,000 p/a + Excellent Tips<br>Hours: 5 days out of 7 (seasonal variation)<br>Location: Bournemouth<br>We are seeking a passionate and driven Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at one of Bournemouth's most popular and well-established restaurants.<br>Located in the heart of the town, this vibrant, high-volume restaurant is known for its great food, welcoming service, and fantastic atmosphere. This is an excellent opportunity for a Sous Chef who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in a successful, seasonal operation.<br><br>? The Role<br><br>Support the Head Chef in leading, training, and motivating the kitchen team<br>Assist in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency<br>Help manage stock control, ordering, and GP targets<br>Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards<br>Contribute ideas to menu development and seasonal menu changes<br>Take charge of the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence<br>Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative kitchen culture<br><br>? Working Environment & Hours<br><br>5 days out of 7<br>Winter: Reduced hours with a smaller brigade of 3 chefs , offering a better work-life balance<br>Summer: Increased hours during the busy season with a larger team of up to 8 chefs , alongside excellent tip potential<br>A well-structured seasonal operation that balances calmer winter months with energetic, rewarding summers<br><br>?
