Soil Wash plant Operative - Labouer - Night Shift

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:<br><br>Learn more about the general tasks related to this opportunity below, as well as required skills.<br>To operate and ensure the smooth running of the processing plant, to fulfil customer requirements in the supply of high-quality aggregates. Responsible for ensuring that housekeeping, routing maintenance and health and safety and environmental for the plant and stocking yard.<br><br>RELATIONSHIPS:<br>a) Responsible to: Quarry Manager<br>b) Responsible for: None<br>c) Liaison with: Directors, Managers, Employees, Clients, Suppliers<br>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<br>MAIN TASKS OF JOB: Operate processing plant system to reduce all raw material to appropriate size for further resale.<br>Service and assist in repair of the processing plant.<br>Performs housekeeping duties around processing plant.<br>Start up and shut down procedures of the processing plant.<br>Monitor raw aggregate material being loaded into the hopper and checked for quality of products being produced.<br>Stops processing plant in the event of a problem using correct procedures.<br>Inspects processing plant at beginning, end, and throughout the day as needed;<br>Reports any problems to the Quarry Manager.<br>Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained<br>Responsible for all associated mobile plant including maintenance and daily checks procedures excluding ADT.<br>Responsible for the removal of all waste products in line with the Companys Environmental policy.<br>Ensure PPE is worn at all times<br>To comply with the companys Factory Production Control Manual in support of SRC Quality Objectives<br>To act in accordance with the companys Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and practices highlighting any issues appropriately xwzovoh <br>Performs other duties as directed<br>THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:<br>Enthusiastic, committed and a fast learner with previous experience of a busy environment<br>Ability to work with individuals across departments and liaise with external customers and contacts<br>Solid organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload<br>Preferably recognised qualification to operate processing and mobile plant (preferably CPCS or MPQC) or working towards;<br>Clean UK driving license;<br>Experience with operating and basic maintenance of processing and mobile plant;
