Looking for an opportunity to join a industry expert? </p><p><br></p><p>We’re partnering with a high-growth, venture-backed retail technology company that’s transforming how major global retailers design and optimise their store layouts.</p><p><br></p><p>They’re now hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work at the cutting edge of large-scale optimisation and algorithm design, directly impacting how thousands of physical retail spaces are planned.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities – </strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Partner directly with enterprise clients to understand complex planning needs and constraints</li><li>Design and improve large-scale optimisation algorithms for real-world applications</li><li>Evolve and extend an existing production system using <strong>JavaScript</strong> and <strong>Rust</strong></li><li>Prototype and introduce <strong>AI/ML</strong> approaches into optimisation workflows</li><li>Contribute to solving a highly complex combinatorial optimisation problem</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience – </strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Strong grounding in algorithms and mathematics background</li><li>Experience building or improving complex system logic or optimisation engines</li><li>Comfortable in JavaScript and/or Rust (or happy to learn quickly)</li><li>Confident in client-facing environments – able to extract requirements and challenge assumptions</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What do you get in return? </strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Fully remote working</li><li>Salary up to £110,000 </li><li>Annual bonus </li><li>Direct mentorship from the CTO </li><li>Pension </li><li>And so much more </li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you’re interested please apply to the advert or send your CV to to apply.</p><p><br></p><p>No sponsorship. xwzovoh </p><br>Remote working/work at home options are available for this role.
