This is often called a "room full of the smartest people in other rooms"</p><p><br></p><p>If you’d typically call yourself a <strong>Production Engineer, Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Linux Engineer, DevOps Engineer </strong>or<strong> SRE, </strong>there is a home for you in this team!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Why join?</strong></p><ul><li>Flexible hours + hybrid working (brand new skyline office in Montreal on a hybrid basis)</li><li>Work in one of the most technically advanced teams in the country</li><li>Heavy investment in cutting-edge and next-gen tech</li><li>Flat structure, low ego, high talent</li><li>Startup-style ownership backed by major resources</li><li>Real autonomy to build, improve and automate</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>You’ll sit within an elite Linux-focused infrastructure team responsible for designing and running large-scale, high-availability systems.</p><p>This is hands-on engineering. xwzovoh You’ll be:</p><ul><li>Building and evolving resilient, multi-petabyte infrastructure</li><li>Writing Python to automate anything manual or repetitive</li><li>Working closely with engineers across the business to improve reliability and performance</li><li>Enhancing observability, monitoring and system transparency</li><li>Driving automation across config management and container environments</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What they’re looking for (or a willingness to learn the below)</strong></p><ul><li>2–15 years’ experience working deeply with Linux</li><li>Familiarity with monitoring/observability tooling (ELK, OpenTelemetry, VictoriaMetrics)</li><li>Strong Python skills (automation/scripting)</li><li>Experience with CI/CD tooling is a plus</li><li>Exposure to Docker and container ecosystems is a plus</li><li>Experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet or similar</li><li>Experience working with large-scale bare-metal environments</li><li>Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate in fast-paced environments</li></ul><p><br></p><p>This is a chance to join a genuinely elite engineering team in Montreal, working on serious-scale infrastructure with the freedom and backing to do things properly.</p>
