ob Description:<br><br>The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.<br>Shift Pattern: 06:00 14:00 / 14:00 22:00<br>JOB PURPOSE To focus on fixing and maintaining all site machinery to keep production running effectively and safely.<br>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Simplified)<br>Machine Maintenance & Repairs<br>Carry out all machine repairs quickly and safely to reduce downtime.<br>Complete preventative maintenance to stop breakdowns before they happen.<br>Respond promptly to breakdowns and get machines back up and running as soon as possible.<br>Support improvements to machinery to make them more reliable.<br>Technical Support<br>Provide hands-on engineering support to solve mechanical and electrical faults.<br>Ensure all repairs and adjustments meet safety, legal and site standards.<br>Assist with any machine upgrades, modifications or refurbishments.<br>Safety & Compliance<br>Work safely at all times and follow all site rules and procedures.<br>Ensure machines and equipment are safe to operate.<br>Complete risk assessments and follow permit-to-work processes where needed.<br>Support safe working for contractors on site.<br>Teamwork & Communication<br>Work closely with production teams to keep machines running smoothly.<br>Communicate clearly about issues, downtime and repairs.<br>Support colleagues and work together to get the job done safely and efficiently.<br>Site Support<br>Help maintain general site facilities when required. xwzovoh <br>Assist with shutdowns, start-ups and priority engineering tasks.<br>PERFORMANCE INDICATORS<br>Reduction in downtime and machine breakdowns<br>Completion of planned maintenance on time<br>Reliability and availability of machinery<br>Safe working practices followed at all times<br>SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED<br>Engineering qualification (mechanical or electrical)<br>Hands-on experience fixing machinery in a manufacturing or industrial environment<br>Strong fault-finding ability<br>Knowledge of preventative and reactive maintenance<br>Understanding of health & safety requirements<br>Ability to work independently and as part of a team<br>Work Location: In person
