Join this national, forward-thinking Housing Association at their HQ in central Bradford, West Yorkshire .<br><br>Applying for this role is straight forward Scroll down and click on Apply to be considered for this position.<br><br>This is a pivotal role within an organisation currently undergoing a significant journey of transformation.<br><br>You won't just be managing numbers; you will be ensuring that costs are accurate, transparent, and fully compliant.<br><br>As the Service Charge Accountant, you will take ownership of the end-to-end service charge process.<br><br>Your expertise will ensure that costs are recovered fairly and in accordance with complex legislation.<br><br>What you'll be doing: Deliver robust budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for service charges across a diverse property portfolio.<br><br>Ensure all costs and charges align with current housing legislation and occupancy agreements.<br><br>Actively challenge existing processes and champion best practices to drive efficiency.<br><br>Partner with Asset and Housing teams to verify data and provide expert financial insights.<br><br>Prepare and manage auditable service charge accounts to the highest standard.<br><br>What you need: Proven background in management accounting, specifically within service charges or the social housing sector (highly desirable).<br><br>Advanced Excel skills (data modeling, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs) are essential.<br><br>A strong understanding of service charge legislation and different housing tenure types.<br><br>Ideally you will be a qualified Accountant, or working towards this.<br><br>A pragmatic, inquisitive approach with the ability to interpret complex leasehold and tenancy agreements.<br><br>Why you'll love this job: Our client is known for its supportive culture and commitment to employee well-being.<br><br>Salary circa £38,000 Hybrid working 2-3 days per week from home, and a 35-hour work week.<br><br>28 days holiday plus bank holidays, and holiday purchase scheme Healthcare plan and gym discounts Access to a Leadership Academy and comprehensive career development programs.<br><br>Generous pension scheme.<br><br>Life assurance cover at 3 x salary.<br><br>If you are ready to make a real impact in a mission-driven environment, please submit your CV for immediate consideration. xwzovoh <br><br>Interviewing ASAP!
