Be a part of it.</p><p>We are looking for a confident Senior Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.</p><p>You'll be working 42 hours per week, working days only (including working alternate weekends). You will support in making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Broughton Lodge.</p><p>Shift Pattern: Days (8 am – 8 pm)</p><p>Week 1: 4 days on, 3 days off</p><p>Week 2: 3 days on, 4 days off</p><p>Broughton Lodge is a specialist residential service for adults with autism and a learning disability who may present with behaviours that may be of concern.</p><p>We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective environment for those in our care, promoting independence and community integration. On site we have a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) who assist and support us to provide outcome based care and support pathways.</p><p>Depending on the individual’s level of need, we have 3 different areas within the service offering different levels of support, including support for young men and women leaving an educational provision.</p><p>Your Day-to-Day…</p><ul><li>Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach to all individuals in our care</li><li>Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support</li><li>Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way</li><li>Assist with medical & welfare needs & report as required</li><li>Support management in the day-to-day running of the service</li><li>Undertake supervisory & administrative responsibilities</li><li>Safeguard</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean environment for all</li></ul><p>You are…</p><ul><li>An experienced Support Worker ready to step up to a new challenge</li><li>Genuinely driven to make a difference in people’s lives</li><li>Confident, assertive & ambitious for yourself, service users & the organisation</li><li>An excellent communicator & good team player</li><li>Sensitive & intuitive with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment</li><li>Able to empower & support service user independence</li><li>Organised, committed & keen to develop your management & leadership skills</li><li>NVQ level 3 qualified in Care (desirable)</li></ul><p>Why Cygnet?
