Job Summary<br><br>The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.<br>We are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. We are a well established pub set in the heart of Surrey with a 3 AA rosette rating held since 2021.<br>The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts, with a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As Senior Sous Chef you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.<br>Senior Sous Chef Responsibilities<br>Prepare and cook dishes according to 3AA Rosette standards<br>Assist Executive Chef with smooth running of the kitchen<br>Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service requirements.<br>Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.<br>Leading the kitchen team to deliver consistent, high quality service levels<br>Assist in the training and supervision of kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.<br>Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.<br>Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.<br>Assist the Executive Chef with GP tracking, stock control & supplier relationship management.<br>Collaborate with the head chef and kitchen team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.<br>Experience<br>Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef in a similar role within the hospitality industry.<br>Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.<br>Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.<br>Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience in team management and training.<br>A passion for culinary arts and a desire to contribute positively to the kitchen environment. xwzovoh <br>Experience in a 2 or 3 Rosette kitchen environment.
