Senior Software Developer

<p><b>About the Role</b></p><br>Is your CV ready If so, and you are confident this is the role for you, make sure to apply asap.<br><p>Reporting to the Software Development Team Lead, the role will focus on developing and maintaining bespoke software solutions using .NET (C#.NET and VB.NET), SQL Server, and supporting technologies. You will work closely with IT Business Analysts to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements and agreed timelines. This role will also play a key part in driving the transition toward cloud-based technologies.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Provide support and guidance to Software Developers</p></li><li><p>Ensure development is carried out in line with agreed standards</p></li><li><p>Develop and coordinate the delivery of new bespoke software solutions</p></li><li><p>Maintain and enhance existing software systems</p></li><li><p>Ensure development and deployment meet data security requirements, working alongside IT Operations and IT Security teams</p></li><li><p>Support secure data transfer with external software solutions</p></li><li><p>Provide technical support for bespoke systems via the IT Help Desk</p></li><li><p>Work closely with IT Business Analysts to ensure solutions meet requirements and timelines</p></li><li><p>Support the Software Development Team Lead in evolving development methodologies in line with industry changes</p></li></ul><p><b>About You</b></p><p>You are an experienced and proactive software developer with a strong technical background and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions. You are comfortable providing guidance to others and enjoy working collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative and work independently.
