As a senior member of the team, you will contribute both technically and strategically, helping shape development standards, performance optimisation, and system scalability.<br><br>You will primarily work within a C# .NET SQL Server ASP.NET ecosystem, developing high-performance, reliable, and maintainable applications.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications in C# and .NET<br>Lead architectural discussions and contribute to technical direction<br>Build scalable, reliable systems to support automated trading and research<br>Develop and optimise database solutions (SQL Server or equivalent)<br>Improve performance, reliability, and automation across systems<br>Mentor junior developers and promote best engineering practices<br>Participate in code reviews and enforce high standards of quality<br>Collaborate closely with researchers and traders to translate requirements into robust software solutions<br>Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tooling <br><br>Required Skills & Experience<br><br>BSc (or higher) in Computer Science or a related scientific discipline<br>Strong recent experience with C# and the latest .NET platform<br>5+ years of professional software development experience<br>Solid experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or equivalent relational databases<br>Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and software architecture xwzovoh <br>Experience building production-grade, scalable systems<br>Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills<br>High attention to detail and a thorough, analytical mindset <br><br>Desirable<br><br>Experience in multi-threaded and concurrent application development<br>Network programming experience (TCP/UDP)<br>Experience with distributed version control systems (Git)<br>Strong understanding of Windows technologies<br>Exposure to financial markets or trading systemsSpectrum IT Recruitment (South) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
