Amnis Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing residential care provider, seeking a Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker to join their dedicated team in Chorley.<br><br>Apply below after reading through all the details and supporting information regarding this job opportunity.<br>This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Residential Care Worker ready to step into a senior role, or an existing Senior looking for genuine career progression within a supportive and expanding organisation.<br>About the Role<br>You will play a key role in supporting children and young people who have experienced trauma, ensuring they receive high-quality, consistent, and nurturing care within a safe residential setting.<br>Working as part of a strong, multidisciplinary team, you will help create a stable and supportive environment that promotes positive outcomes and long-term development for each young person.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Support and guide the care team to meet the individual needs of young people<br>Deliver direct, therapeutic support to children and young people<br>Work collaboratively with external professionals to achieve the best outcomes<br>Provide supervision and support to staff in line with regulatory standards<br>Lead and contribute to Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings (Clinical & Education)<br>Support the Deputy and Registered Manager in achieving service objectives<br>Uphold safeguarding standards and promote a positive, nurturing environment<br>Requirements<br>Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care ( essential )<br>Minimum 1 year supervisory experience ( essential )<br>Minimum 1 year experience supporting young people in residential care ( essential )<br>Full UK Driving Licence ( essential )<br>Minimum age: 21 years<br>Desirable:<br>Level 5 in Residential Child Care<br>DBS on the Update Service xwzovoh <br>Whats on Offer<br>Competitive salary including sleep-in payments (£65 per sleep, approx. 2 per week)<br>Overtime premium rates<br>Structured rota (typically 2 days on, 4 days off)<br>Comprehensive induction & ongoing training<br>Fully funded Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification<br>Clear progression pathway to Deputy Manager / Registered Manager<br>Pension scheme & health/wellbeing support<br>Employee Assistance Programme<br>Free meals on shift<br>Access to 200+ training courses<br>DBS paid for<br>Generous annual leave (217.5 hours inclusive of bank holidays)
