Senior Radio Frequency Design Engineer

<p>RF Lead Engineer</p><p><br><br>The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.<br></p><p> Cambridge, UK | Full-Time | Permanent</p><p><br></p><p>A growing technology company working on advanced wireless systems is looking for an experienced <strong>RF Lead Engineer</strong> to join its engineering team.</p><p><br></p><p>This role combines hands-on RF design with technical leadership. You’ll take ownership of RF subsystems, guiding them from concept through validation while supporting a small team and collaborating across disciplines.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Lead RF design and delivery for subsystem development</li><li>Design and simulate RF circuits (e.g. amplifiers, filters, duplexers)</li><li>Translate high-level requirements into practical implementations</li><li>Plan and carry out RF testing and performance analysis</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues</li><li>Support and mentor engineers within the team</li><li>Work closely with system, hardware, and production teams</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Degree in Electronics, xwzovoh RF Engineering, Physics, or similar (or equivalent experience)</li><li>Experience with a range of relevant RF design areas, i.e. PAs, LNA, Filters, etc. </li><li>Background in delivering RF solutions within complex projects</li><li>Familiarity with RF tools (e.g. ADS, AWR, HFSS, CST)</li><li>Experience with RF measurement equipment</li></ul>
