The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring product conformity, process compliance, and continuous improvement across production, inspection, and supplier quality activities. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical knowledge, effective communication, and a proactive approach to maintaining world-class quality standards.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Act as a key liaison between <strong>customers, suppliers, and internal teams</strong> on all quality-related matters.</li><li>Conduct <strong>internal, supplier, and system audits</strong>, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and customer-specific requirements.</li><li>Manage <strong>non-conformances, customer complaints, and root cause investigations</strong> using structured methods such as 8D and 5 Whys.</li><li>Lead <strong>operator training</strong> in inspection techniques, measurement methods, and equipment usage, including preparation of work instructions.</li><li>Oversee the <strong>management and calibration</strong> of measurement and test equipment, ensuring traceability and accuracy.</li><li>Review complex <strong>engineering drawings</strong> to define appropriate inspection and measurement strategies.</li><li>Prepare and maintain <strong>inspection and test documentation</strong>, reports, and quality control plans.</li><li>Support <strong>continuous improvement</strong> by identifying opportunities to enhance inspection processes, equipment capability, and data analysis.</li><li>Participate in <strong>project meetings</strong>, providing quality input during design, manufacturing, and validation phases.</li><li>Conduct <strong>supplier audits and performance reviews</strong>, providing feedback and improvement recommendations.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills & Experience:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Minimum of <strong>five years’ experience</strong> in a Quality Engineering or equivalent role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.</li><li>Proficient in <strong>Microsoft Office</strong> and general PC-based systems.</li><li>Strong understanding of <strong>inspection methods and measurement techniques</strong>, including interpretation of complex mechanical drawings.</li><li>Proven ability to <strong>train and coach</strong> employees in quality and inspection-related topics.</li><li>Effective <strong>project management and communication skills</strong>, with experience liaising directly with customers and suppliers. xwzovoh </li><li>Completed <strong>Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship</strong> or equivalent qualification.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If this role is of interest please apply or email </p>
