Senior Project Manager Location:Parkwood House, Belfast The entrance to Parkwood House lies off the Malone Road and is well-served by bus Metro Service 8.<br><br>Check you match the skill requirements for this role, as well as associated experience, then apply with your CV below.<br><br>Contract: Permanent<br>- Full Time Working Hours: 37 hours<br>- Monday to Friday Hybrid Working Mix of working from the office and working from home About Us Energia Group is a leading energy company in both RoI and NI, dedicated to decarbonising Ireland's energy system.<br><br>Through three key unitsRenewables, Flexible Generation, and Customer Solutions (Energia in RoI, Power NI in NI) we offer advanced energy solutions.<br><br>We're committed to driving Irelands renewable future and supporting local communities through initiatives like employee volunteering and community benefit funds.<br><br>By 2030, we will invest €3bn in renewable technologies through our Positive Energy programme, aiming to reduce our electricity generations carbon intensity by 50%.<br><br>Aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals, we are pursuing a science-based path to Net Zero.<br><br>Energia Group holds the Business Working Responsibly Mark and supports the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan, highlighting our commitment to biodiversity.<br><br>Our talented employees are our greatest asset, and we invest in their growth through Learning and Development programmes.<br><br>We foster a safe, inclusive work environment, champion diversity, and are seeking people with positive energy to make an impact in their roles through a meaningful career with us.<br><br>About the Role Reporting to the PMO Manager in the Technology & Innovation department, the successful candidate will be a highly self-motivated, results-driven, IT Professional with a proven track record in delivering IT projects/programmes of work to meet business needs.<br><br>The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and implementing a portfolio of business-focused IT projects within the Energia Group.<br><br>Our Technology & Innovation department currently has 30 live projects including key business improvements along with several refresh projects.<br><br>Responsibilities Day-to-day, heres what your new role would look like: Senior level responsibility for Project Management.<br><br>Manage multiple high-profile business and IT project deliveries from initiation through implementation and project closure.<br><br>Management of third-party vendors against agreed work packages.<br><br>Represent the projects/program and its objectives in governance/compliance/regulatory forums.<br><br>Assess and report status of all project/programme in an objective manner, maintaining project/programme transparency and accurate status; keeping PMO manager and stakeholders informed.<br><br>Proactively identify, resolve, and escalate (as needed) projects/programme risks/issues to management and stakeholders as needed.<br><br>Proactively plan staffing requirements and make dynamic adjustments to maximize resource efficiencies and achieve project/programme results.<br><br>Accountable for understanding business objectives and how the project/programme delivers them; driving adjustments in project/programme to achieve desired business results more effectively.<br><br>Ability to adapt and respond to changes both inside and outside the project/programme.<br><br>Ability to predict risk areas, design mitigation/contingency strategies and execute these strategies to avoid issues.<br><br>Ability to lead across a wide variety of IT related project/programme types.<br><br>Liaising with internal customers to design functional enhancements and identify gaps.<br><br>Manage and report project/programme costs to management and stakeholders as needed.<br><br>Carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required from time to time.<br><br>Deliver projects/programmes in both Waterfall & Agile methodologies.<br><br>Troubleshoot project issues to resolution with the project team About you Key Criteria What Youll Need Extensive experience in delivery IT programmes / projects at a senior level, with the ability to work on complex multi-million-pound programmes / projects.<br><br>Experience in all phases of Software Development Lifecycle.<br><br>Extensive experience of successfully delivering multiple projects or large multi-million pound/Euro programmes including preparing and submitting budget proposals, monitoring and reporting of financial information.<br><br>Experience of managing third party suppliers. xwzovoh <br><br>Desirable Criteria<br>- These help decide between those who meet all the above key criteria: PRINCE2/PMP/Agile certification (or equivalent) If you are enthusiastic about this role but dont meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply.<br><br>Your past experiences might be the perfect match for this or other positions, making you the unique talent were looking for.<br>TPBN1_NI
